Care Tips:

  • Lighting: This Alocasia thrives in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sun, which can scorch its delicate variegated leaves. Insufficient light may cause variegation to fade.

  • Watering: Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry. Alocasias are sensitive to overwatering—ensure good drainage and empty saucers after watering.

  • Humidity: Loves humidity! Aim for 60% or higher. Use a humidifier or pebble tray if your indoor air is dry.

  • Feeding: During spring and summer, feed monthly with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted to half strength. Pause feeding in fall and winter when growth slows.

  • Repotting & Soil: Repot every 1–2 years or when rootbound. Use a well-draining aroid mix—a blend of potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark works great.

  • Dormancy Note: It’s normal for Alocasias to go semi-dormant in colder months. If your plant drops a few leaves, reduce watering and be patient—it will bounce back in spring.

Shipping Note: Variegated Alocasias can be sensitive in transit. We pack each plant with care and recommend opening your package immediately upon arrival. Some leaf imperfections may occur during shipping but will not affect the health of the plant.
